|
History The JMU APN was founded in the summer of 2003 by a core group of alumni who had a dream of an alumni network within the DC area that would help all alumni find jobs, find service providers and find opportunities. A few short months and several long meetings later the JMU APN was founded. Officially chartered and recognized by the Alumni Association in March of 2004, the JMU APN came to life and began the work of fulfilling its mission. A true testament to what can be achieved when the power of an idea is harnessed and worked toward as a team; the APN has since held numerous events and has grown in number to over 100 “members” that regularly attend area events. As success stories continue to mount we are more hopeful than ever that a strong networking vehicle for JMU professionals in the area is just around the corner. |
