About Us The JMU APN (Alumni Professional Network) is a network of JMU professionals from all walks of life that are interested in expanding their personal and professional networks among all JMU alumni. The APN seeks to draw membership from all professionals in the DC area – from Accountants to Zookeepers – if you’re a working professional in the DC area the JMU APN is for you. The APN’s vision is to create a culture that encourages the sharing of opportunities among the JMU professional community – whether that be; promoting a service provided by an alumni, helping a job seeker looking to find a new employment opportunity, or a helping business person looking for new leads. The goal is simple – bring JMU alumni together in an atmosphere that will encourage the development of relationships that will be personally and professionally valuable to the individual and to the entire JMU community in DC. To accomplish this lofty goal the APN hosts a series of networking events throughout the year to help alumni connect with each other. From informal mixers at local restaurants to more formal networking luncheons the APN seeks to provide an atmosphere where people can connect and build relationships. The connection is in our JMU pride, the venues and events are provided by the APN – the rest is up to all of us! We want you to get involved!!
